Social Emotional Learning in STEM

Social and Emotional Learning, or SEL, helps learners develop and apply skills to understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships and make responsible decisions. These are just the skills that our students will need in their future, to find a fulfilling job, to get into college, to get along with others in their workplace, and to manage the challenges of life. So, what are some things we can do to prepare the young people in our programs for the future? This webinar will provide strategies to implement right away and ideas for building staff confidence and competence in SEL.
